Why I Created the
When my daughter was 7, she told me she wanted to be an artist. So I signed her up for an art camp in Nashville — packed the baby, drove back and forth all week, hoping she'd come home inspired.
But when she showed me her work… it was just splashes of paint. No instruction. No real skills. She looked more confused than proud.
That night, I realized — kids don’t need more glitter and glue. They need someone to actually teach them how to draw.
So I created a small camp focused on the fundamentals — line, shading, proportions, perspective. The kind of training that builds real skill and real confidence.
That camp became a full 12-week course for kids 10+ who are serious about art.
Because every child deserves a teacher who sees their potential — and gives them the tools to grow.
